Mini-Challenge: Show Me the Books

Hour 5’s mini-challenge – Show Me the Books – is hosted by Crystal at My Reading Room!

She’s asked us to post a photo of books – any books.

I decided to post a photo of the new books I’ve recently acquired that I can’t wait to read, but that are too long for the Read-a-thon. (I try to pick short books to read during the Read-a-thon, to keep my momentum going and not get bogged down by a huge book.) In other words, here are some books I’ll be starting after the #readathon. :)

Post readathon books.

  1. just the sight of those books quickens my blood, i swear. i don’t have my copy of “swann’s way” now but when i do, i want to immerse myself in proust (and pray that i understand it). But yeah, probably not the best books for the read-a-thon! I hope you’re enjoying the day!

  2. I like that you put a hashtag in your blog post.

I really want to read the new edition of Madame Bovary. I *might* be hosting the readalong of it next year at the Classic Reads Book Club.

what do you think?
